ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt; to left, monogram of Π and T above monogram of M and E; to right, ΑΛ above Θ. CPE 647. SNG Copenhagen 470. Svoronos 774. A lightly toned and boldly struck piece of vigorous provincial style. Minor die break on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
